When Marion Suge Knight was shot in the thigh at Kanye Wests' 2005 birthday party, witnesses were extra tight-lipped about the identity of the shooter. Knight then filed a lawsuit against Kanye West over being shot at the Shore Club in Miami.
Kanye West eventually settled the lawsuit out of court with Knight in 2011 for an undisclosed amount. Fast forward to 2013 and the snitches are definitely talking about the situation to federal investigators. None other Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond is the person responsible for the attempted hit on Suge Knight, according to The Smoking Gun.
Federal Informant CW-3 (Confidential Informant 3) told the Feds that Jimmy Henchman paid him $10,000 and provided him with the gun to shoot Knight. Jimmy Henchman was recently given life in prison for running a massive cocaine trafficking operation.
